Marhaban ya Ramadhan… As spirit of the holy month of Ramadhan is spreading around the city, Sheraton Media Hotel & Towers Jakarta is celebrating the evening of Ramadan with special gastronomic promotions at its all food and beverage venues.
At dusk, guests can break the fasting with freshly delightful Deli Ta’jil menu at Deli Cake Shop located on the lower lobby of the hotel. The menu is offered at Rp. 45.000,- net with 10 to 12 items of traditional snacks, finger food and sweets such as Bitterballen, Kurma (Middle Eastern dates), Lumpia Goreng (fried spring roll), Pisang Nagasari (Sweetened rice flour filled with banana, steamed and wrapped in banana leave), Serabi Kinca (Traditional Indonesian pancake), Es Campur (mocktail with slices of tropical fruits), etc. Depending on the day, the selection of Ta’jil menu will be varied and guests can either enjoy the Ta’jil at the Deli Cake Shop or simply takeaway and enjoy with friends and family at home.
In the evening, guests may continue dining with Nusantara Food Promotion at the Breeze Café located on the 6th floor. This daily buffet style dinner features exquisitely prepared traditional Indonesian hot and cold dishes together with classic salads and desserts are on offer. This includes Ta’jil menu for whom did not have chance to break the fast with light meals.
Priced at Rp.125.000,-net per person the promotion is suitable for friends and families who wish to share happiness with dining in an agreeable atmosphere. Diners can choose from extensive delightful selections of traditional menu derived from regions throughout Nusantara (Indonesian terms for nation), such as Kolak Nangka for Ta’jil menu, Rujak Juhi for the appetizer and Soto Kwali for the soup. For the main course, guests may try Nasi Goreng Blacan, Tumis Genjer Tauco, Bebek Goreng Madura Cakalang Fufu Sambal Merah, Krengsengan Daging Sapi or Botok Kelapa Muda, while for the desserts, guests can sample Puding Gula Merah, Lalampa, Jongkong Surabaya, Sentiling Kelapa, Gemblong Betawi, Pisang Rai or Es Pallu Butung. Additionally, to maintain genuine tradition of Nusantara’s culinary culture, various side meals and condiments are offered such as Kerupuk, Emping, Rempeyek, Sambal, Manisan Buah, and Acar.
For ones who wish to refresh the day, Special Ramadhan Mocktail is good to try. The special Mocktail is also offered at Deli Cake Shop, Oasis Lounge, and Media Lounge at only Rp.35.000,- net per glass.
For in-house guests, daily Special Sahur Combo menu called “Sahur on the Bed” is available from 2am until imsak by ordering Room Service. Samples of the menu include Gulai Cumi, Ayam Cincane, Udang Bawang, Daging Rica-Rica and Ikan Bakar Colo-colo. The sohoor menu is offered at Rp.125.000,- net per person inclusive of starters, main courses, fresh fruits and drinks.
Eid Buffet
To commemorate the celebration of Lebaran or Eid al Fitr, the hotel will be hosting two days special Eid Lunch and Dinner Buffet at the Breeze Café, featuring vast selections of uniquely delectable “Lebaran” menus on the first and second day of the Eid al Fitr 1432 H. The Breeze Café will be setup with Lebaran themed décor to convey the perfect mood.
