Emir is a full-feature Filipino movie musical set in a fictional emirate in the Middle East with 70% of principal photography shot in Morocco. It tells the story of a Filipina yaya (nanny), Amelia, who decides to work abroad to help her family. She takes care of the Sheik’s wife and later acts as the yaya to the newly born – Ahmed, the Sheik’s eldest son.

Emir adalah sebuah film musikal megah asli Filipina mengambil setting di sebuah negara kerajaan fiksional di Timur Tengah, dengan 70% pengambilan gambar utama diambil di Maroko. Ia menceritakan kisah seorang yaya (pengasuh) Filipina bernama Amelia, yang berkeputusan bekerja di luar negeri untuk membantu keluarganya. Amelia menjaga dan merawat istri sang Syeik, dan lalu berperan sebagai yaya bagi sang putra yang baru lahir.
