provides two of those essential ingredients anywhere and at any hour. All you

facing the lush gorge, drop by for a
casual poolside lunch beside the Ayung River, take in the lush panorama over
sunset cocktails in the Jati Bar then linger over a uniquely romantic
candlelight dinner seated high atop the valley.
Jati
Bar -- This stunning open-air setting
with an unobstructed 180 degree view of the surrounding Ayung River Valleygives
guests the sensation of sipping favourite cocktails in the jungle while still
seated most comfortably at the hand carved teak-topped bar, from which the
venue takes its name as jati means teak in Bahasa Indonesia. NLow whicker armchairs and couches surround
locally crafted wooden-grained tables, creating plenty of gathering spots for
friends and families anytime between spa treatments, river rafting, Ubud
shopping or merely to imbibe and explore beyond the plush comforts of your
private retreat. Afternoon tea available from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. In addition to
any cocktail desired, a full list of wines and champagnes by the glass are
featured in the evening from 5 pm to midnight. A Rindik trio plays their
harmonous bamboo instruments from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm nightly and a gamelan
gender wayang trio play their delicate interlocking melodies during special
dinner evenings on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Ayung
Terrace – Forgive those who stop in their tracks while descending the dramatic
circular staircase to this valley skimming open air dining room and blame the
jaw dropping panorama, of verdant tree tops and fluttering butterflies. Located
on the second level of the Resort's main building, our breakfast, lunch and
dinner restaurant seats 40 at the rugged river’s edge. The natural setting may
be rustic but the dining space begins with a small reception area leading to
the grand room where cream plaster walls complement the natural stone floor and
columns. Dinner tables get dressed with cloth table runners, antique Balinese
accents and fine white china and glassware. Ceiling fans stir the fragrant
scents of this open-air venue. Complimenting the organic beauty are stone
carved relief panels while ceiling fans stir the fragrant scents of bold
cuisine and the aromatic environment. Intimate parties of up to 8 may opt to
gather in the air-conditioned private dining room to the side of this
awe-inspiring setting.
Ayung
Terrace serves breakfast from 6:30 – 11:00 am. Lunch and dinner showcase Pan
Asian specialties. Lunch is served from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm and dinner from
6:00 to 10:00 pm.
Riverside
Cafe -- Amidst rice fields, the Ayung River and the Resort's kidney-shaped
swimming pools, our casual café named for its unique location takes full
advantage of the soaring tropical valley to create a dining environment
unmatched in Bali. The menu features international favourites such as wok
selections, char-grilled meats and fish, fresh salads, and sizzling wood-oven
pizzas. Open daily for lunch from 11:00 am to 6:30 pm.
Room
Service -- Our chef’s finest selections come to you morning, noon and nightin
the ultimate privacy of your villa or suite. Asian favourites, Alternative
Cuisine* selections, tapas or hearty Western dishes will arrive at the precise
time established when you place your order by phone. Plan ahead for a picnic
lunch, private party for friends, or let our team light the candles for a
romantic dinner accompanied by the rhythmic flow of the ancient river.
Breakfast
is served from 6:00 to 11:00 am, all-day dining from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm and
overnight dining from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.
