Bali,
June 17, 2013 - Archipelago Culinary Fest is an annual culinary event held in
Bali region, by Archipelago International, one of the leading hotel operators
in Indonesia with a portfolio of more than 60 hotels in Indonesia, Philippines
and Malaysia.
Chefs,
bartenders and baristas, who competed, were representatives from Archipelago’s
eclectic Bali hotel collection of 14 properties. Held on Saturday, June 15,
2013 in favehotel Bypass, this event has attracted enthusiastic from
practitioners and culinary lovers in Bali.
On
cooking competition, each participants served 3 course meals consistent of a
bean curd based appetizer, a duck dish as a main course and a sweet purple
potato based dessert Dewa Putu Budi Astika and Ni Putu Juliari from favehotel
Seminyak are the first winner of cooking competition.
For
bartender competition, Wijaya from Aston Inn Tuban has become the the winner,
and has successfully served unique cocktails. While on barista competition is
Tenny Latando from Aston Kuta.

are happy with this event, because it brings a lot of motivation and
inspiration in culinary and beverages.” Said Winston Hanes, Archipelago’s Bali
based Regional General Manager. “Archipelago Culinary Festive next year will be
more exciting, since creativity in culinary is unlimited." he added.
