Batavia Food Festival @ Cafe Gran Via Jakarta

Jakarta, June 17th, 2013 – With the anniversary of Indonesia’s capital citycoming in few days, Gran Meliá Jakarta will be participating in celebrating local gastronomy by having Batavia Food Festival at Cafe Gran Via, the hotel’s buffet restaurant on the second floor. This year’s 486th anniversary will be celebrated with a full week of Jakarta’s local delicacies to deliver a complete experience for guests to taste the authentic, distinctive cuisine of Betawi, Jakarta’s indigenous ethnic group.

Starting from June 17th until 23rd 2013 Cafe Gran Via serves a wide variety of Betawi dishes ranging from Egg Crust (Kerak Telor), Betawi Beef Stew, Fish Pesmol, and many others which are not everyday dishes that guests could find in Jakarta. All the special delicacies are served together with international buffet servings and free flow of selected drinks, price starts at Rp 228,000++ per person.

Have a taste of Batavia Food Festival at Cafe Gran Via, Gran Meliá Jakarta. Batavia Food Festival is available for lunch from 11.30 am to 2.30 pm and dinner from 6.00 pm to 10.30 pm.
