This year, the hotel will serve up traditional Iftar delights with festivities that promise to delight all with special Arabian hospitality and cuisine in Lobo from July 8 – August 7, 2013.

Al-Khayma derived from the Arabic word for The Tent, this spectacular occasion will bring the most exciting dining experience guests will have ever endured. Primarily set in the hotel’s contemporary fine dining restaurant of Lobo, Al-Khayma truly offers a new exclusive feel from the cuisine to its hand-sewn sheer coveted walls. Transformed into a lavish tent haven with contemporary Arabian décor, guests can indulge in an intimate breakfasting evening like no other.

Enter the realm of Middle Eastern cuisine and ambience at Al-Khayma, where it is specially crafted by Chef de Cuisine Jordi Bernus of Lobo. Guests can begin their Iftar with an abundant of Tajil selections, a traditional sweet snack to break the fast, followed by a sumptuous selection of Middle Eastern cuisine served in the vibrant-island buffet. To complete the true Arabic experience at The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Mega Kuningan, Al-Khayma presents the customary performance of belly dancing and traditional contemporary music performers for our guests’ pleasure. Traditional Shisha can also be enjoyed throughout the evening.

The Al-Khayma buffet at Lobo will be available daily from the month of Ramadan from 6.00pm–10.00pm at the price of Rp.458,000++ per person inclusive of a welcome drink.
